Hello everyone & welcome to the
September Spotlight.

September has somehow arrived already! The leaves are starting to gain the gorgeous autumnal colours and the sun is gracing us with some low golden evening light. Although I am sad to loose that wonderful 28° weather, feeling the start of Autumn is just as exciting.
I hope you enjoy reading this months news.

FROM THE WORKSHOP

This last month has been great in the workshop. It has given me a chance to experiment with some different designs and one off pieces for my collection. I have wanted to let my imagination run wild by adding some colour to my collection.
In particular I have been using some large juicy Tanzanite stones and a sprinkling of lime green Peridot. I haven’t had the chance to take some professional photographs of them yet, but have a VIP sneak peak at some workbench, in progress shots below!

eridot Oak Leaf Pendant. Park Road Jewellery, Handmade Statement Sterling Silver Jewellery.

Peridot Leaf set

Above are a Peridot and Oak leaf Pendant and Earring set, prior to being finished.
I wanted to combine the flashy lime colour of Peridot with the subtle surface texture to create a modern, yet natural look.
To give the pendant a little something extra special, I handcrafted an intricate fluted V shape bail. The bail is the part that attaches the pendant onto the chain. I could have used a simple plain loop, but I wanted to go the extra mile and add more detail.
The earrings will be available as hook or drop stud fittings.

Park Road Jewellery, Handmade Peridot Leaf multi strand necklace

Multi Stand Oak Leaf Necklace

This wonderfully scruffy image shows how I plan my pieces out using graph paper to ensure accuracy and precision.
Now finished, this is another piece to go in the Oak Leaf collection.
I have designed this as a multi-strand necklace, using the curb chain displayed. The top strand holds one leaf and the bottom strand holds two leaves and three gemstones.
Finished with three Brilliant cut, graduated Peridot stones, which gives the necklace a bit of colour and extra sparkle. I cannot wait to photograph this piece properly!

I would love to know what you think of these new colourful pieces!
What else would you like to see added to the collection?
Why not let me know via email or Social media.

Time to sparkle!

Is your jewellery in the need of a polish or a refurb? Jewellery that gets worn everyday understandably picks up knocks and scratches, and pieces that have lived in a jewellery box for a few months may have a surface tarnish on them.

I recommend treating them to a professional clean and polish to get them looking good as new again.
Here at Park Road Jewellery, I have all the tools and knowledge to get your precious items of jewellery sparkling again.
