‘Tis the season for a
Park Road Jewellery gift guide
Are you looking for that special piece of jewellery, and are not sure where to start? I’m here to help! Think of me as your personal shopper to guide you through the Park Road Jewellery collection, to find the perfect gift.
All of my jewellery is handmade in the workshop, and designed in a minimalist and clean cut style. My design ethos is that the simplicity creates a statement all by itself and is suitable for all occasions. Whether the jewellery is worn with a casual sweater or a stunning evening dress, it works with all outfits and doesn’t live it’s life in a jewellery box.
So lets get started…
Do you know a necklace from a pendant?
Lets begin – a necklace is an piece of jewellery designed and worn where the chain and central motif is one integral piece. A pendant is a separate piece which slides freely along a chain, that can be taken on and off the chain.
Things to think about.
When selecting a necklace, all you need to choose is the final length of the piece. The most popular length is 18″, this length of chain would usually be suitable for a uk dress size 8-12. A 16″ chain is very petite and is a great option to wear smaller more delicate pendants in a choker style. A new trend is emerging for wearing pendants on longer chains that sit at a more chest level. For this option, I would suggest a 24″.
If you would like help selecting the right chain length and style, simply drop me an email to discuss.
Cherry Blossom pendant
Inspied by cherry blossom, this pendant would suit someone that likes their jewellery to have a more understated, delicate style.

Earrings, drop or stud?
There are a lot of earring styles on offer in the Park Road jewellery collections, but what are they?
Stud earrings- these are usually a small size that doesn’t hang below the ear lobe and uses a post as the earring fitting.
Drop earring- this style of earring hangs or dangles elegantly from the ear. There are two different types of fitting available, either a hook or post that the earring then hangs from. I offer the choice between these two fitting styles when you have chosen your earring.
Top tip! Have a look at the style of earring fitting your giftee usually wears, everyone usully has a preference over which they find most comfortable
Love the Mountains earrings

Berries Earrings
These earrings move beautifully when worn, something that can be worn casually or dressed up for a special evening out
Bracelet or Bangle?
Wristwear is a wonderful gift to recieve, and perfect if you know the giftee already wears something on their wrist, as bangles and bracelets look great when multiples are worn together.
Whats the difference?
Its simple when you know. Bangles are solid pieces, formed from a circle or oval, bracelets are made from individual links, chain or they include a central point of design.
When designing my bracelet range, I have made the sizing options as easy as possible. Most of the pieces have a sliding adjustible clasp that the wearer can easily close themselves, and choose how tight they want it to fit.
